Can we all agree to change the name of “wash & go”👀? Here are some Tips as I attempt the style for the first time: 1. Know your hair porosity, so you know how to deal with your hair (test it by taking a strand and see if it floats at the top it’s low and if it sinks it’s high) 2. You can do it on freshly washed hair or if not just use a spray bottle to make your hair damp 3. Food for thought from your cosmetic scientist: don’t knock off a product if you see it’s not as foamy- as long as the function is cleansing 4. It was my wash day too so I: shampoo, condition, mask, leave-in conditioner, hair cream, hair gel, scrunching gel (is optional), and hair mousse 5. Work in sections for easy application 6. Traditional raking didn’t work for me, so I found that when I pull my hair whilst using my other hand to finger-coil it worked out better 7. Hair mousse helps lock and dry the curls faster 8. DRY YOUR HAIR FULLY- if not it will frizz and your work defining your curls would have gone to waste 9. Embrace shrinkage but if you want it longer stretch it in sections using hairbands to elongate it Save this video to refer back to it and follow me for more🫶🏾! #washandgo #naturalhair #fingercoils #curldefinition #type4hair #afro #blackhair #afrohairstyle #shorthair #washday #howtostylenaturalhair #howto #fyp #4chair #cosmeticscientist #cosmeticscience #productdevelopment #haircare
