@theejohnnychang: Silence isn't God ignoring you. You prayed today. You poured your heart out. You said everything you needed to say. And when you opened your eyes, it felt like nothing happened. No warmth. No peace. Just silence. And the first thought that hit was, "Did God even hear me?" Here's what Scripture actually says. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7. He never said you'd walk by feelings. He said you'd walk by faith. Feeling nothing doesn't mean God is doing nothing. Sometimes He's working in places deeper than your emotions can reach. He's answering in ways you can't see yet. Silence isn't abandonment. It's often the place where God works the most. You've confused no feeling with no response. Scripture doesn't say God responds with feeling. It says He responds with faithfulness. The moment you spoke His name, He heard you. Sometimes you don't feel peace because He's still teaching you to let go. Sometimes the silence is Him teaching you to stop trusting your emotions and start trusting His Word. Feelings change every day. He doesn't. If doubt creeps in, speak truth back to it. "God, I trust You even when I can't feel You. My lack of emotion doesn't cancel Your presence. I know You heard me."
