"why would God need prayers" you pray for yourself not for God

chris :

so if prayer works why do we take the sick to the hospital why not just take them to a church?

Monte Crizo :

Prayer works. That’s why there’s no need for doctors.

butter :

so do we have free will

matthewprosser05 :

No study of prayer has found that it works.

Pantso :

So the prayer does nothing 🙃

ABE 3 :

We pray because His perfect plan IS indeed for us to pray in faith.

Jeremy WS :

I sincerely believe prayer does work, but this doesn't mean I never go to the doctor. It'd be foolish to never see a doctor &/or never take medicines. Remember, one of the Gospels was written by a physician, Luke. Luke also wrote the Book of Acts. I'm sure Luke prescribed his patients medicine, even after he started following Jesus Christ. ❤️
