How is GMC higher than Chevy if it’s the same truck?

Both my 04 sierras are well north of 300k miles and I daily beat the piss out of them and tow like they one tons. Quadrasteer still works too.

My take is that the heavy duty truck data is highly skewed because of hot shot trucking or people putting mainly highway miles on those vehicles. They are less likely to be driven around town in stop and go conditions with short drive cycles that significantly increase wear on the engine

Most of those vehicles are fleet vehicles, which means they have the money and resources to keep them running, regardless of how much it cost

Are they not changing any fluids in these tests? What level of maintenance was done?

That’s completely wrong. There are hundreds of documented Toyota tundras heading over 1,000,000 miles no other vehicle can do that.

My 2011 F250 with the 6.7 hit 260,000 this week. The bed needed reinforcement and everytime I close a door more rust falls off...but she's still running strong 😂

I had a 2018 Silverado 2500hd with the 6.0l gas. Had 165k miles on it. I wud have trusted it to go to a million miles. Absolutely flawless truck. No warning lights, no problems. No leaks even. I’ll be honest, it didn’t make enough power to break anything. I’d still have it f gas wasn’t so freaking expensive. Now I have a 2023 Duramax 1500 and I’m loving the luxury included on the 1500s and the fuel economy. 28-34mpg on my way to work 166 miles one way. So much easier on my wallet

What are we calling making it to 250k miles? Does that mean making it to 250k with just doing expected maintenance or I had to put in a new transmission at 160k to make it to 250k ?
