homelessness is a crime in an economy where the cost of living exceeds wages. and going after people with disabilities instead of offering supports is just pure evil. I am just so completely done.

This makes me sick to my stomach. I have a very medically complex child, the thought of what this could bring to the disabled community is horrible. I have been fighting a property manager an HOA because I have a child who uses a wheelchair and they don’t want her here. This is only going to make lives like ours even harder

I am a Direct Support Professional in a group home. I will fight anyone who tells me my residents have to go back into an institution. The oldest resident in my home was formally housed in an institution before it shut down in out local area. I have seen lasting effects/behaviors from that. I refuse to not them live dignified lives 👏
