people seem to be getting it wrong but pansexual isn’t necessarily just ‘liking all genders’ it’s having no preference when it comes to gender, meaning you can date anyone and nothing will change in terms of how they identify it’s based on physical attraction and personality if anything. Whereas bisexual is liking more than one gender but maintaining a preference, some may prefer women, men, nb’s, etc.

Pan is under the bi+ umbrella, bi means liking more than one gender, while pan is more of a regardless of gender and “gender blind” attraction. A person can choose whichever identity based on what they feel most comfortable with. I identify as bi and also Omni, which is like pan but gender plays a role in attraction/you have preferences. I usually just say I’m bi, but when people ask me to explain my attraction further in depth I tell them I’m Omni. People choose smaller labels that they feel like define them better and make them happier. Omni and pan are considered micro labels in the bi+ community.

Well, bi means two. Pan means everyone, and they don't necessarily care about looks nor genders - personalities, mainly. Similar to omni, which is pan with preference and care about gender / looks. Bisexual is two; so, man & woman, woman & nonbinary, man & nonbinary, masc & nonbinary, fem and nonbinary, etc.
