@kimberlybethclaytor: Nothing beats homemade chicken noodle soup when the whole house is under the weather. 🥹🍲 This one was so simple, so comforting, and definitely hit the spot. ❤️ Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup 🍲 Ingredients * 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts * 7–8 cups water * 7–8 tsp chicken bouillon (or the amount your bouillon calls for to make 7–8 cups broth) * 1 medium onion, diced * 3 celery stalks, chopped * 1½–2 cups baby carrots * ½ tsp ground ginger * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp Italian seasoning * ½ tsp dried thyme * ½ tsp black pepper * ½ tsp salt, then more to taste * 2–3 cups egg noodles * 1–2 cups super greens, chopped Directions: Add the chicken, water, bouillon, onion, celery, carrots and seasonings to the crockpot. Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot. Add the egg noodles during the last 20–30 minutes, cooking just until tender. Stir in the super greens during the last 10 minutes. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper or bouillon as needed.
