it's simple. don't bother them they won't bother you. in Tucson I encounter them quite often on my 2am walks on oracle road by the m cemetery.

I had a herd in the backyard. The mom delivered 3 babies. She "brained" 2. One survived. The javalina with the broken leg: damaged by another javalina. It'll survive if it keeps up with the group.
