I absolutely hate anything oripa/gambling packs at card shows. In Asia every second vendor does this and it’s absolutely disgusting. It is literal proof they are not good enough to sustain on just selling and buying cards.

That’s gambling. There are literal gambling sites that do stuff like this. Just because it’s for cards doesn’t make it not gambling. If you pay $5 for a 5% chance at hitting something worth $100 and $50 for a much higher chance at hitting that. It’s gambling.
