@apelfeed: You’ve probably seen this PinkPantheress dancing clip somewhere on your timeline. The meme comes from her June 2025 NTS Radio appearance for “Victory Lap: PinkPantheress & Friends,” filmed at the Victory Lap studios in London. During her performance of “Girl Like Me,” PinkPantheress breaks into this strangely confident, slightly awkward dance — and the Internet immediately knew what to do with it. Clips and GIFs from the moment quickly began circulating as reaction memes. “Girl Like Me” appears on her 2025 project “Fancy That” and samples Basement Jaxx’s “Romeo” — a sample PinkPantheress has described as a personal favorite. Long before becoming a meme herself, PinkPantheress built her audience by uploading self-produced music to TikTok and SoundCloud, blending UK garage, drum and bass and pop into short, addictive tracks like “Pain” and “Break It Off.” Sometimes a meme is just a few seconds of someone perfectly existing in their own world.
