I'm going to sounds like a stereotypical old person but it's only in the past like 20 years at most that this level of context seems normal. used to be that we'd have to wait and it was fine. people would go days without talking because we didn't have cell phones and it was fine. the convenience has bred entitlement

What if i communicated my boundaries, he apologized first but i told him im still upset. He tried to gaslight me into saying something like "when i need my space you get upset" and i said can we call he said when you're free? He didn't text me back since yesterday morning and its the first time he does this in one month.

I used to have men in my life who will text me every single day (i can not cope with this anymore) and I can guarantee that it means absolutly nothing. It is not because a man « shows interest » every day that he’s a good catch. I love a man who is consistent and reliable for real not through text messages blowing up my phone 24/7. The dynamics about today’s relationships is crazy, why should we talk to someone we don’t know that much and we not sure to be compatible with 24/7 ?? Absolute nonsense.
