POV: You swore you’d never try wild swimming, but then you visited @poolbridgefarm... ✨ I went in with full intentions of just being a “sit on the bank with a picnic and chill out” person, but when you get there it instantly changes your mind! The lake water was so lovely once you get used to the temperature and the whole place is pure peace. We grabbed some sandwiches from @Salt Pig and some M&S picky bits for lunch but we ended the day with fish and chips that are onsite and I think it’s the best I’ve ever had. You know how chippy tea can sometimes feel heavy and greasy? This was so meaty and fresh, and the chips were a solid 10/10! On site they have: 🍦 Annabel’s Açai & Ice Cream Truck: Parked right by Q Lake serving up fresh superfood açai bowls, dairy-free treats, and ice cream cones (Open Weds–Sun, 11am–6pm). 🐟 Millers Fish & Chips: Their food van rolls up right by the Q lake for that perfect post-swim chippy tea (Fri–Sun, 4pm–8pm).(back in summer) 🍕 On-Site Cafe: They also have their own farm cafe serving up hot drinks, treats, and wood-fired pizzas on a weekend I believe! 🪵 Wood-Fired Saunas: You can even book a private lakeside sauna session to warm up after your dip.
