Because Warren said he last seen him at 3 but then said he heard or saw one of the other boys was telling him to get on the boat at 4 or 4:30, so yes!! Who heard him say that? Because the girl story has never changed so you’re right, this answer lies with that person.

Probably misdirection by Warren. Wells would never have stayed on a barren deserted island without his phone, wallet, keys, SHOES, necklace and watch. But Warren had all of Nolan’s personal things and nobody else did to question the fact.

Ok, you are right but the reason is simple why they say he choose. To take the onus off of the boys and on to Nolan. This is done to people of color all the time. If you go back to the judges statement you will see she used that exact phrasing. You won’t find anything bc by design its entire purpose is to make you look right instead of left. It’s always somehow black peoples fault when they get murdered by white people.

They never spoke about who Nolan was in that verbal altercation. The witness that reported to law enforcement the fight with Nolan on the boat. That's missing.
