Sweetheart! You did not put this off! Your young little brain did not comprehend what happened to you. I am sending you the biggest hugs! I am so sorry! Thank you for sharing your story, that’s not an easy thing to do. Was seeing everybody’s stories coming out lately. I think it’s a lot more women than one and five, there’s no way. I’ve been really emotional and crying since Jane Doe from Cornell and now hearing everybody else’s stories. I’m usually very quiet, happy and bubbly. But I resonate with so many women and young girls. I’m hoping that this is going to bring radical change!

It took me a really long time to tell anyone as well and it was my therapist who allowed me a safe place. I went to him bc I couldn’t sleep and turns out if you are assaulted when you are in bed you can’t sleep

I did the same. I froze about this subject from 17-26 and I had a mental break and ended up blurting it out. I felt like I had just ruined everyone’s version of me, and they’d never look at me the same. I’m PROUD OF YOU for opening up no matter how long it took.. I believe you. 💗
