I'm a manager at my job and if I can step away from my desk, I always go help one of my employees if they are behind on something. i can't sit there and watch my employee struggle when I can see they need help

I invite them and include them, I accept their responses and I want them to also be confident in their work, but yes, I do inspect it, as their lead, because ultimately, it falls on me when we're not successful.
