Don’t listen to the comments, this is exactly what that horse needs. My boy went though a shocking stage once he learned if he pulled hard enough twine snaps. Every time i tied that fucker up he’d instantly break free and go do what he pleases. It wasn’t until i did this he learnt to stop being silly. We now tie to twine again and he hasn’t once tried it again. I swear people don’t realise how smart horses really are, once they learn a habit unless you interrupt that habit they’re just going to keep doing it.

I had a trainer once tell me that “if they are dumb enough to break their neck while standing tied, they’re not worth riding”. Slightly harsh, maybe, but true when it comes to both my safety and the horses. 🤷🏻♀️

Some if yall do not understand if she keeps using twine this horse knows its going to keep getting free after pulling and this behaviour will not stop. Likely twine has caused this as the horse has learnt pulling back releases it. Sometimes it's best and nost effective if the horse learns its lesson the hard way. After realising pulling back is not going to equal release this horse will most likely learn to respect pressure. Shes not doing anything wrong by hard tying especially when she's right there in case of emergency.
