My dog literally stares at people and wills them telepathically with their brain to leave at 9pm if they’re still at the house. And if they don’t listen he just starts barking and trying to herd them towards the door. Then the second they leave he books it up the stairs and goes to bed 😂

When we let the cat out for supervised outdoor time he will not go to the toilet outside. He will meow at you to be let in, use the litter box, then demand to be outside again. He was a stray.

I have to put my cat on a shelf in the closet, because I did one day when moving stuff around. Turns out that is his favorite activity of all time and now screams to be put on the shelf in the closet. There’s no way for him to get up there and he’s afraid to jump down, so it’s a group activity.

My senior Pomeranian had a strict bedtime. She also snored, but if anyone else snored, she would wake me up and make a point of letting me know their snoring was annoying her. This went both ways my snoring bf would wake me up to tell me the dogs snoring was annoying. I was getting complaints from both directions but did not snore.

My senior dog loves to sleep on the couch and on my bed, but if she comes up to my room and i’m playing video games at my desk, she is incapable or chilling. She will stare at me and start pawing at me until I go to bed. She literally refuses to sleep unless i’m also in bed 😭 won’t even let me unwind after work lol i have to sneak past her while she’s on the couch

my cats have many rules. oliver, my senior kitty, is very strict. if she’s trying to nap and my gf and i are talking to loud she will genuinely yell-meow at us until we’re quiet. if we don’t listen she bites us. sometimes she wants to cuddle and sometimes she genuinely only wants to touch you with a singular paw. if you try to go any further she gets upset. she also wants us out of bed by 11 or so. otherwise she starts knocking things off of my girlfriends desk. bean, our other cat, is also very demanding. we swapped out her food dish. she had an egg carton (for slow feeding) but it got wet and we didn’t have another one. she genuinely stopped eating almost entirely unless she was scatter fed (i guess for slow feeding). she now has an egg carton again and is completely fine. she will not tolerate being pet right after a nap. she requires a life check at 10 AM if we aren’t up (which consists of her meowing once and one of us calling her and then she’s quiet), and then it escalates to her meowing/barking at us at 11 AM if we still aren’t up. they run the house. we just pay rent and live here.

When I am home, my cat will only eat breakfast when I follow an extremely specific ritual of cuddles and then kisses, then she will get down and go get some bites while I say, "Ugh, kisses. Gross, Mom!" This pattern repeats 3-4 times every morning. She otherwise does not even want to sit in my lap, just next to me/keep eyes on me at all times. She is 18.5 and is the last of six cats raised together so I do whatever she wants. She has a standing order for gabapentin because we have to drug her when I go to my office (three days a week) or she gives herself what has every symptom of a UTI but is just her anxiety manifesting as physical symptoms (up to and including bloody urine). She is otherwise perfectly happy and content, just obsessed with me ... in a legit stalker kind of way.

My deaf ginger cat used to come in from outside and “call a meeting” ie: sit in the kitchen and scream until everyone came and made themself known to him. If you didn’t report in and then he found you later he’d smack you on the back of the calf.

I had a foster dog who was very strict about the cat not being on the counter; I'd be in another room and hear BARK BARK BARK because he knew the gd cat wasn't supposed to be up there 😂

When I taught my shih tzu to play dead he thought he had to 'die' in the room I taught him at first. So if I shot him with my finger gun in the kitchen he'd run to the living room and roll over.

My one boy cat sends me to bed at 10ish every night. He gets meows until I get up and go to bed, tucks me in then GOES AWAY!! he is not wanting to go to bed himself doesn’t care if my wife goes to bed just me!! What’s weird is I go to bed every night right at 10am now I don’t remember if it’s my choice or not!

My cat has had a fluffy blanket that she’s had since she was a baby. It sits at the foot of my bed and she sleeps in it all night. Well, once I met my husband, He started to fluff it for her. Now once she notices it’s bed time, she refuses to step foot in it until my husband and ONLY my husband has fluffed it up to her liking. She will sit on my makeup stool (her pouting stool, she sits there when she’s upset) until my husband realizes she’s sitting there and he goes over there to fluff it for her💀
