I didn't process my ex was assaulting me until months after we broke up, it can take so long for a person to process and realize what was happening

It took me YEARS to realize I was sexually assaulted by my brother, because it was COCSA and I was older and he didn't penetrate me and he didn't even know what SA was. I only realized it last year. And this happened first when I was like 9-12 I don't quite remember. I'm 19 now.

Consent isn’t a one time thing. It’s continuous. We have to stop using men’s definitions and guidelines. We need to make our words known.

I was hit by a drunk driver, but don't remember any of it. Last thing I remember was getting into my car and driving off. I dare someone to tell me I'm lying

I really appreciate having the words to understand why I responded the way I did in the hours, days, months, ect. Thank you [Red heart]

Although it's a way of the brain coping, even if it's not rare cases (88%), there's gonna still be someone out there blaming the victim because they initially denied or implied it didn't happen or "it wasn't that way" type of statement. But sa is rooted in the feeling of being violated, if the person said later but still said why should we question how they felt when it was their body, their boundaries being broken?

What matters is that she didn’t consent when it happened, you can’t just do “in hindsight it probably wasn’t as bad as I thought so what happened is fine”

So what I got from this video is that she did initially say she consented but time after that, she started to realize this wasn’t what she consented to and it turned into rape. If I’m incorrect you can 100% correct me

Consent IS a one time thing, you don’t get to change your mind when you decide that you didn’t like what you did. That’s such a weird point of view.

She gave that statement that everything she did was consentual almost 3 weeks after the incedent occurred. You can't just change your mind and decide that you no longer want to consent to sex. Every single time she voiced a boundry, it was respected by the men. This is the most obvious case of a false accusation I've ever seen, and you internet women are making us all look insane and unhinged. First it was Lindsay Clancy, now this.
