To the people who say this doesn’t make sense. This isn’t Musashi saying he’s nobody or that he’s worthless. It’s Musashi letting go of the rigid identity he has spent most of his life trying to fulfill. Musashi has always held this rigid belief that being the most physically superior person in the world is what will give him worth. Nearing the end of the manga, Musashi learns to accept that worth is inherent and doesn’t come from being “invincible” or physically stronger than everyone else. “I’m absolutely nobody” here means that I’m not restricted by one rigid, one-dimensional idea or identity because I don’t need a fixed label at all. External factors and labels aren’t what make a person more or less worthy.
