@_lifewithlo_: 📣WELCOME TO MY TED TALK‼️ People always say when you have something good, keep it quiet. Keep it private. I share so much of our life as parents, but not nearly as much about the part of our story that existed before all of this. Us. ❤️ We’ve been together for 11 years and will celebrate 9 years of marriage this year. And no, every one of those years hasn’t been perfect. We’ve had highs, lows, growing pains, disagreements, seasons where loving each other came easily and seasons where we had to be much more intentional about choosing one another. But at the core of it all, we’re friends. So while I may keep a lot of our marriage private, I don’t ever want being private to mean I don’t publicly give this man his flowers. Because one thing about my husband? He knows that while I appreciate beautiful things, what I value most are experiences, quality time, thoughtfulness, and memories. I want the trip. The new restaurant. The thing I’ve always wanted to try. The place I’ve only seen in pictures. The experience I’ll still be talking about years later. And for 11 years, he has listened. And THAT means something to me. So, thank you, baby.
