My now 18 year old son was bullied incessantly for most of his academic journey especially in middle school!! I did everything required and spoke to everyone in charge to make it stop to no avail!! It wasn't until one of his classmates...a popular young man...wrote a handwritten letter to the principal asking her to look into it and make it stop!! His letter was very detailed and full of specific incidents of cruelty towards my son!! That boys Mama sure did raise him well!!

As a teacher and a mom, go to the principal. There are probably a lot of things happening in the classroom and if she is not witnessing it and both sides are telling her different things the teacher is kind of stuck. I would pull in the counselor to talk to all sides individually and then most likely for a mediation with the kids if I was in her spot but I’m not sure what resources she has in the school.

I told my daughter to stand on top a chair or a desk and point it out as soon as it happens. and let me know the time she did it when she gets home and I will follow up. no more gaslighting. we dont tolerate violence and if my child was grabbed by her hair id file a police report. the unaliving rate amoung elementary kids is at an alarming rate. you are doing the right thing. now go find these other parents and confront and inform them immediately. dont be afraid to be that mom. we are raising kid version 5.0.

when I was getting bullied in middle school I told the counselor and she called the girl in to talk to her with me in there and the girl lied the whole time. I would never do that I would never say that.Many years later after I was living across the country and married and had kids the girl sent me an apology on Facebook.

As a teacher, nothing will happen until you threaten police action. I don't understand why it has to get to that point. There are no consequences because the district is scared of parents. It's so infuriating.

I would be clear with the teacher that the one child initiates the behavior and it is daily. Then do not wait, escalate to admin. Becca knows that she is getting away with this.

U need to go into the principal office or disciplinary person and tell them also tearch isn’t doing a good job if kids r getting bullied while in class and she just happens to not see it

@Just a friend: As a momma who doesn’t believe in letting the teacher handle it I would: demand they bring this issue to Becca’s parent’s attention. I would also advise the school that if they don’t contact her parents and address this issue I will make sure I address it with them myself by waiting for them after schooI. I would try to volunteer at recess at least once or twice a week to ensure they are both bully free and feeling safer and I would document everything I’m being told and what I see with dates and take that to the district and let the principal know that’s happening so Ms. principal rushes to make it her business real quick. 💕✨ I believe as parents we have to advocate and push and prod because bullying is so damaging a I’m proud of your son for speaking out

In middle school I had a girl in PE class clock me in the face and I hit the floor don’t remember much after but woke up in nurse office idk how I got there, pe teacher wanted that girl supended but the school said no and stuck her back in the class then changed her class to something else so not failing. I was in 6th grade my mom did nothing but say what u do for that to happen
