The Chip City near me was always empty, and it was located among a bunch of restaurants a block away from a big movie theater. I got some cookies once on a Too Good to Go deal. They were pretty basic, not bad but not great, and definitely not worth the price.

Crumbl is already closing down. Chipcity when they were much smaller (OG Astoria) was amazing. Then they got bought out and expanded FAST. Lowered quality and consistency. When franchises have to learn brand new recipes a day or two before launch it causes issues. Insomnia has been much more consistent to be but their regular menu is pretty simple.

That's what I thought about Salad & Co - just didn't get why we needed a million of them popping up everywhere when there were already so many custom salad fast casual chains that were struggling. If fast food salads were so in demand they would be selling better at all the normal fast food chains.

Good cookies are made with 100% butter (no other fat) and it’s just not economically viable to mass produce them, which is why homemade cookies will always be leagues better than anything commercially produced.
