Amazing these homes pass inspection. A sure way to tell if your house is built well get on a ladder and check the seal between roof, flashing, window frames and jump into the attic and check how the joists are fastened. It’s either all of that is going to be poorly done or it’s going to be flawless. Nothing in between.

Good luck. All these new build claim they have a “10 year warranty” but when they send out a person to inspect they claim it’s cosmetic or something not covered on warranty

We had a new build in Florida, 14 years ago, and the ceiling dripped every time it rained. Turned out the builder didn’t put the flashing around the chimney.🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
