I seriously think people don’t know what to do with more generalized characters anymore. It’s like they gave us Lunar and suddenly everyone forgot how to team build bc lunar teams were kinda just handed to us. Like, all the characters people have called bad (off the top of my head) Varka, Lohen, Vod, they’re all more general than Lauma or Linnea for example.

The thing that puts Varka above newer dps, is he’s not locked to certain reactions which makes him a lot more fun - yes pyro is his strongest team, but you have proper flexibility compared to say Skirk who needs freeze, Nefer who needs lunar bloom, Vesna who needs stellar swirl (not slandering these characters, I love them (also play Vesna and Nefer) - just saying they are locked). I wish my Varka was as strong as OPs though 😭 waiting for his rerun to get his sig. Also desperately need Hoyo to release a Cryo hex character that can hold hex Artifact

I believe ppl keep repeating the same thing others influencers say because they lack critical thinking because there is no way ppl keep saying Varka is a bad DPS when you can use it with so many supports. He’s one of the most versatile characters in the game alongside Flins. 👁️

all the "Varka is bad" thing was back at 6.4 when he came out and his best team barely reached 100k dps, after that Prune came out, the Hex support set came out, Nicole came out, and now we have Stellar swirl improving his Cryo teams and Vodyanitsa improving his Hydro teams, currently Varka is the best non-Lunar or Stellar carry (Unless you are a god at Mavuika combos)

At first i was disappointed with varka, but after a bit i grew to like his gameplay and dmg. I got his signature and later nicole and prune and hes pushing +300k

he's one of the most flexible characters in game. why would i want a character who is number 1 at one specific niche when i can have varka who is top 5 against multiple scenarios
