Day 63 of posting something from my camera roll until I reach 5,000 followers! ❤️ Yesterday: 2,531 Today: 2,534 Another +3 followers today! We’re officially sitting at 2,534 followers, which means 2,466 to go before we hit 5K. And today’s camera roll photo takes us right back to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. ⚾️ Today’s photo is some of the baseball artwork inside the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and this is one of those things I didn’t really think about before visiting. You expect baseballs. Bats. Jerseys. Gloves. Signed memorabilia. Historic equipment. All the things you’d expect to find in a museum dedicated to baseball. But then you start seeing the ART inspired by the game, and it makes you look at baseball a little differently. Because baseball really does create some pretty iconic images. The pitcher on the mound. The batter waiting for the pitch. A catcher behind the plate. A runner sliding into a base. A stadium filled with fans. That moment right before the ball connects with the bat. They’re everyday scenes when you spend as much time around baseball as our family does… but put them into a piece of artwork and suddenly you notice everything differently. ❤️⚾️ And maybe I appreciated it even more because we were in Cooperstown because of my own son’s baseball journey. After YEARS of sitting at baseball fields, I probably should have my own wing in a baseball museum at this point. 😂 I’ve watched countless at-bats. Pitching. Catching. Stolen bases. Strikeouts. Walks. Great plays. Questionable calls that I am STILL prepared to debate if anyone would like to discuss them. 😂 I’ve sat through games in ridiculous heat. Freezing mornings. Wind. Pouring rain. And weekends where the phrase: “It’s only one more game…” turned into us being at the field for another six hours. Baseball parents KNOW. 😂 So walking through the Hall of Fame and seeing how generations of baseball have been preserved through memorabilia, history AND art was pretty freaking cool. And that’s what made our Cooperstown experience feel bigger than just another tournament. They got to play. Trade pins. Spend time with their teammates. Experience Cooperstown. Walk through the Hall of Fame. And see the history of a sport they’ve spent so much of their childhood playing. As a baseball mom, I loved that. Because youth baseball goes ridiculously fast. Right now, it feels like baseball completely controls our calendar. Practices. Games. Tournaments. Travel. Gear. Uniforms. And endless weekends at the field. But someday? There won’t be another tournament on the calendar. There won’t be another game bag sitting by the door. There won’t be another pair of baseball pants soaking in my laundry room while I desperately try to figure out how dirt can possibly be THAT embedded into white fabric. 😂 And I’ll probably miss it. Maybe not cleaning the pants. Definitely not cleaning the pants. But the rest of it? ❤️ Absolutely. That’s why these Cooperstown pictures keep making their way into this challenge. They represent one pretty incredible chapter in my son’s baseball story—and our family’s story right along with him. Day 63 is officially complete! 2,534 followers. +3 today. 2,466 until 5K. We’re still showing up. Still growing. Still posting whatever completely random memory comes out of this camera roll next. And considering the amount of baseball content buried in here, I’m pretty sure I could accidentally turn this into a 365-day Cooperstown series. 😂⚾️ But tomorrow? Who knows what the camera roll is giving us. That’s half the fun.
