First clip she delivers the package (when I get the notif and proof of delivery), she then picks it up and looks up&down at the other apts, so I gave her grace thinking she was confirming the apt number. When she did, she placed the package back down, scanned it, quickly picked it up and started walking. When I approached her she was almost to her truck (in the alley, not going towards another apt) and seemed to not wanna stop when I asked if that was for my apt. I gently grabbed the package as she wasn’t really letting go, and walked her back to set it down on my mat for her to finish. Due to our language barrier I couldn’t fully understand her (vice versa) but she was saying she couldn’t take the picture, then tried showing me but it was only on the maps. I thought she meant it took her to the wrong place, so I explained DoorDash does that sometimes so I get it but we didn’t get anywhere. I told her I’d leave her to do what she had to, and I can see on the camera when she leaves. She stayed for about 2mins and left without another photo I believe. My thing is, she had a little girl, abt 5 yrs old with her. Running back&forth to the truck in the alley. She’s Mexican, and people today are too happy with the trigger. Someone could’ve easily used this as an excuse to do something violent, especially with today’s hate. This isn’t just human decency, it’s about safety too people. I pray if she does something like this again, she’s met with another set of understanding people and not the wrong set 🙁
