I see alot lately of Lauer 3 techs, I assume new, still trying to look at layer 1 for their issue. I do layer 1 primarily, and having proved the cable, they still say cable issue, my switch is saying some pairs are open or something.. Meanwhile we tx ans ex gigabit... What is that exactly you layer 3 dudes. I really would like to know. I usually do this dance to satisfy the remote person because I understand that just because I understand and know Lauer 1 and 2 are ok, this person doesn't and I need them to grasp this as well.. Help me understand bc I seem to missing something here myself. Also I see msp dispatch for a cbke run bc the drop is connected at 100mb instead of 1 gig.. It's ain't the cable degraded, it is improper termination, an easy fix. I thank you guys for what you do.
