Honestly I’ve been using the combo for years, never had any flaking problems. I pair them with the blue tin Nivea at night and La Roche Posay Cicaplast. And for the morning I use normal milky toner and moisturizer

I was hesitant to start this duo because of all the reports on dry flaky skin. I went straight in with tretinoin and azeleic acid daily 😂 I have zero issues. But I must say I SLATHER on a barrier cream every night. My pillow is very sticky and I need to replace every day 😅.

I use Azaleic acid in the morning and Tretinion at night for 2 days. Wednesday a do mask. Thursday night serum and moisturiser. Friday Azaleic morning and Tretinion at night again.

But it’s actually supposed to be flaky under make up because it’s shutting off your old skin so if it doesn’t really flake, it’s not really doing its purpose
