And verity crawling on the floor through the monitor! That would’ve been a cool scene idk why they didn’t at least include that

im soo confused because im pretty sure that the sleepwalking storyline was in the trailer at least the scene where lowen is walking up beside verity and im so sad that it wasn’t included in the movie besides a lot of other things that where very important in the book

The locks on the doors, both verity and lowen. The part where Jeremy falls asleep in Lowe’s room and they wake up to the door locked

I actually don’t understand why they wouldn’t include the scariest part of the book, the stair scene!!!! Like hello? I still picture it in my brain and think it’s one of the main parts! I was disappointed

You can tell that Lowen still though something horrible was happening with verity when her bed was doing the thing. You obviously can’t hear her thoughts because it’s not the book. But that part was definitely in the movie

and lowen’s sleepwalking when she woke up one night on verity’s bed and the whole story about Jeremy locking the door for her at night + what happened after that and her childhood struggle and how her mom handled it , Idk but for me that’s pretty major thing to miss out on

why do they always have to ruin the book and make the movie completely different

Why are we posting spoilers for the movie so shortly after it coming out, with no warning at that. Give people a chance to see it

How can they make 3 hour Marvel movies but can’t fit everything from the book!? Make the movie longer. People will still watch it

So I read the book and watched the movie. I still give it an 8/10. The books are always better than the movies but the movie itself was still good!!

The only thing understandable is the coat hanger storyline as that could of been way too dark for the thriller. However, I dont see a reason for the other changes

I think the coat hanger might’ve been traumatizing or a sensitive subject
