@mohasani_167: The story of Hohenschönhausen will never be out of my mind… Explanation cause a lot of guys asked: We visited Hohenschönhausen in Berlin with our class, and our guide was actually a former prisoner there. He told us how prisoners were beaten and psychologically abused. The prison was so hidden that it wasn’t even shown on normal maps, and they were driven around for hours so they would lose their sense of direction. Many were imprisoned just because they were against the government or wanted freedom and democracy. The Stasi used really disturbing methods to break them mentally and physically. I can’t explain everything here, but if you ever get the chance to visit, definitely get a guide. It makes the history feel so much more real. #berlin #prison #mauer
