So the way the law is written where I live you can absolutely get ticketed for using the horn. It’s legal to use in emergency situations, it’s not legal to use out of frustration or anger or to “chastise” another driver. Technically it’s even illegal to use it to say hi to someone you’re passing. I had a cop yell at me in the past for honking at someone. 😭😂
