My wife once had 2 full carts of food and there were no open cashier lanes. All they had open was self checkout. (It was late at night). They made her do self checkout of two full carts.

Definition of A consultant is when a company mgt are frightened to do their job. Call in a consultant give them your watch they tell you the time hand you back the watch and charge you for doing it. Management when blames the consultant when they told the wrong time.

They now have software which identifies if you scanned the wrong item or if you don't scan an item. If you are a persistent shoplifter, you will get flagged.

they barely hang around to see the short term consequences of it being implemented. I'm fucking sick of consultants at my work. all the VPs and SLTs love to bring them in, and never listen to the workers ideas. We can pick frameworks from outside the company and actually implement them in a way that will work.
