The comments at the end made it seem like reddit went after him for not communicating. Meanwhile, they both made the plans in advance, talked about what they would be doing the day of the meetup and he confirmed the night prior. She's the one who changed at the last minute without prior communication. If he didn't deserve an explanation on the change, why does she deserve one on the break up? Communication means nothing if it's not reciprocated.
