dude..!!🤯 this is so true. I never thought about it this way. I just had a conversation bout silent treatment last night. and she got mad when I started saying after a few hrs of u ignoring me I would start to yell or start breakn stuff. is not me. !! well it is. I cn control who is in my life

I believe I read that it's deeper than emotional abuse,it's psychological abuse. My non ex husband would do this all the time & then expect when he was finally ready to start talking to me again that I just act like a happy puppy that should be ecstatic that I was getting attention again. If I didn't then he had a right to get upset all over again & the cycle would restart. It's exhausting 😔 even more so when you become aware and start putting in the steps to get away.
