feels disrespectful somehow bc it was Bowie's idea for it to be so big bc of what it represented to Sarah. Henson actually had to talk him back from stuffing it bigger. its not *just* an iconic part of the costume, its practically a character unto iteself. its absurdity was his grotesque that made him not just a goblin, but The Goblin King. thats just a fairy man now
