@michellesdisneyjourney: I’m curious how everyone else does it! Are you an early morning departure kind of person, or do you prefer to take your time? 👀 #DisneylandParis #disneycommunity #DisneyTravel #disneytips #question
Can I say how long it takes to get to Disney World from where I live? Driving and flying?

For us it is a 5 and half hour drive, we leven in the evening as soon as we see that there is no traffice jam anymore. This is useally at 7.00/7.30 pm. Than we arrive around midnight or at one in the night it depends how much stops we had. We booked a hotel for that night or sleep a fee hors in the car. We are with two persons so that is not a problem. I cannot sleep at all in the evening at leave at 3 in the night. So for us it is beter to leave in the evening and sleep there, than we are fresh and excited for the Disney day

I’m in San Francisco and it takes 6 hours to drive to Disneyland. But because of Los Angeles traffic we’ve found it best to drive late at night. It’s quite a journey but always worth it!

We need 6 hours too. Then 1 - 2 breaks so it will be 7 or 8 hours. So we drive early in the morning. But last time we had to go to work before. So we drove after work and arrived a 1 o'clock in the night [Freudentränen]

With my annual pass, usually around 10AM. Driving after traffic makes the drive a lot more comfortable. I arrive around 4PM, check into the hotel, freshen up and off to the parks

I usually catch the 00.30 crossing and get there for 7.20am. Next week I'm catching the 4.40 crossing so we should be at the park by 10.30ish, all going well. 🤞 Which means I leave home at 12.30am next week.

About the same! I’m the driver (I like to drive) and we always plan that we leave at our friend who steps in last at around 4am

It takes us 10 hours door to door so we drive over the day before our Disney booking starts and stay in a cheap hotel nearby. We go to our Disney hotel that night to check in (you can check in the night before your stay starts and get your park tickets - not many people know that) Then we’re up and fresh ready to go straight to the parks for EMT. Then when we go to our Disney hotel at the end of the day all we need to do is collect our room key. We also spend a full day in the park on our last day and stay in a cheaper hotel nearby that night. Then drive home the next day. We don’t miss a single minute of our Disney time travelling!
