@moechanda: The task was simple: To turn conversation into capital, and ideas into enterprises that are rated, bankable and sustainable. It was an honor facilitating the panel on Access to Finance: Investor Requirements vs. Business Readiness A stellar panel of experts Mutandani Makuyana Head of Investments- Venture Capital Company of Zimbabwe Virginia Ndowora Senior Manager Personal & Private Banking - @NedbankZimbabwe Moyra Mahari Development Professional Gloria Gawe Director & Founder Gloer Investments Access to finance remains a critical factor in enabling women-led and women-owned businesses to grow, scale and contribute meaningfully to economic development. However, the challenge is not only the availability of finance, but also the readiness of businesses to meet the requirements of different financing providers. SMEs may access a range of financing options, including commercial bank loans, equity and venture capital, grants, concessional and development finance, patient capital, blended finance, supplier and customer financing, and strategic investment partnerships. The session explored what makes a business investment-ready, how entrepreneurs can transition from promising ideas to investable enterprises, how they can identify the most appropriate form of finance for their stage of growth, and the common pitfalls encountered when approaching financiers and investors This for me was one of the most honest and necessary conversations of the day and I must say , there IS money. But there is a readiness gap. 📸@ZNCCNational #ZNCC #WomenInEnterprise2026 #fyp #zimtiktokers🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼 #WomenInBusinessZW
