now with the proliferation of AI technology I'm afraid that this future is not only possible it is probable as AI technology become smarter and smarter humanity is looking at a real life not a movie the rise of the machines scenario the movie Terminator was predicting mankind's future that was a little over 40 years ago when AI technology was a science fiction now today AI technology is science facts Terminator wasn't the only movie that showed what AI technology could do once it evolved it was a movie made years earlier I believe 1970 called Colossus also predicted man's future in his downfall because of AI technology now they looking at AI technology for military applications looking at AI technology to be used in submarines where they won't need a crew to run it everything is automated especially ballistic missile submarines oh they're looking at this technology to run our nuclear strategic forces this is no longer science fiction this is reality they are even working on the way to replace human combat soldiers with robots control by AI the way human kind is going it looked like the last book of the Bible is going to actually happen somewhere in the distant future I'm glad I won't be around to see it because it's going to be ugly it's going to be worse than anything Hollywood can come up I find it quite ironic that humanity will be destroyed by the very thing they created
