Thin, crepey skin: Retinoids can help support collagen and improve skin quality over time, which is why some retinol/retinal eye creams ranked higher. Allergies + rubbing: Congestion, inflammation, and chronic rubbing can make darkness worse. An eye cream won’t fix the underlying allergy. Hollows + shadows: Tear-trough anatomy and volume loss can create shadows that look like dark circles. No topical can change your underlying anatomy.
