Why are people scared? I grew up in a village next to River Tana n knew how to avoid hippos n man-eating crocs. We co-existed with lions, venomous snakes, managed malaia carrying mosquito by burning some trees to ward them off. Like this feels exaggerated for shock effect. People actually do reside along the Congo Basin, folks.
