My pitch is use judges scores for a running leaderboard week to week, bottom 3 scores are those eligible to be eliminated then least votes of those 3 goes home. Not perfect, but would more consistently have a weaker dancer going home and avoid the heather morris first 10s elimination scenario

I wonder if they don’t show the actual voting results because some couples may be getting such a significantly large amount of votes compared to other couples that you could almost like see who’s gonna win week one based off of their amount of votes. I do think, though showing who is the actual bottom three would be better

I saw a comment say that the judges score should give us the bottom 3 and then we vote to save based on the 3. Love this because it’s in both the judges hands on quality of dance and then fan vote.

From what I've heard a lot of people were voting for taylor via text kept getting that they voted for Tyler instead. Also for online people kept getting kicked to the log in 😞

for anyone who doesn't know how it works: they are ranked based on judges scores and get points. bottom 1 point, next 2 points, next 3 points, all the way up for however many people are there. then they are ranked based on audience vote, and same deal, given points based on that rank. they add up the points, and whoever has the least goes home. in a tie, the person with fewer audience votes goes home.

I think they do that so the celebrities don’t feel a certain way if they’re on the bottom and get it stuck in their heads.

they do it that way so they can hide that the producers have final decision no matter what the votes said. there used to be disclaimers on all the voting shows that in the end the producers had the final call on to go with the actual votes or send someone else home
