@offenceregister: Runcorn Man Benjamin Sheppard Jailed For Coercive Control And Stalking 👇 FULL CASE DETAILS BELOW 👇 Violent domestic abuser Benjamin Liam Sheppard, a joiner residing in Runcorn with extensive links across Frodsham, Helsby, and Chester, has been sentenced to four years' imprisonment after admitting a campaign of coercive control, stalking, physical violence, and witness intimidation. The court heard Sheppard subjected his victim to sustained abuse, control, and fear. His violent assaults left the victim with permanent scarring, while his persistent stalking caused genuine fear of violence, serious alarm, and severe distress. In an effort to derail the criminal justice process, Sheppard also directly threatened a witness in the case. On 24 September 2026, Sheppard entered guilty pleas to five charges: controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship, stalking involving fear of violence or serious alarm or distress, two counts of assault by beating, and threatening a witness. The judge handed Sheppard an immediate custodial sentence of 48 months in prison. Image - Anonymous Artist Impression #ukcrime #uknews #courtnews #domesticabuse #cheshire #publicsafety
