10/3/26 Update: Sweet Onyx adopted! Happy Gotcha Day, Onyx! ❤️ Beautiful Onyx is a one year old female Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever mix. She has a gorgeous medium-length coat. She is timid in the Shelter with all the noise, the other dogs and all the people. But she is very sweet and craves attention and affection. She is getting better each day with building her trust and confidence. Where she used to just lay on her bed in her kennel, she now comes and greets us at her kennel door. She walks well on leash (she’s very polite. She also keeps a very clean kennel, so I believe she is potty-trained. She also doesn’t seem to be dog-reactive. Since she’s estimated to be a year old, she won’t get much bigger than she is now. She came to the Shelter as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past, but we do know she is extremely sweet and loving. Come meet this gorgeous girl, Onyx, and all the wonderful Cats, Dogs and Bunnies at the Richardson, TX animal Shelter. Adoption Fee: $35.00 Also, check out @PawsByKathy @Sashapawstx @emilyloves.shelterdogs @dog-adoption-girl for more great videos of the animals at both the Garland, TX, the Richardson, TX Animal and the Sasche Animal Shelters.
