@tina.mcsmith: Turns out, I’m not very good at staying in one lane. I’ve been an author, publisher, editor, trainer, entrepreneur, content creator… and I’m still adding things to the list. At 54, I’m less interested in figuring out what I’m supposed to be doing and more interested in seeing what I can build with everything I’ve learned along the way. So no, you probably won’t find one perfectly polished niche here. You will find someone figuring things out, trying new things, occasionally changing direction, and sharing what I learn as I go. If that sounds like your kind of mess, we’ll probably get along. 😉 #genx #genxwomen #creator #journey #ContentCreator

Cornbread 🌽🍞 Cornbread recipe inspired by the Movie Sinners (2025) by Ryan Coogler. A true Mississippi Delta style-cornbread 🔥 Ingredients: - 3:1 ratio of cornmeal (coarse-ground recommended) to all purpose flour - 1 tablespoon baking powder - ½ teaspoon baking soda - 1 teaspoon salt - 2 large eggs, lightly beaten - 1½ cups buttermilk - ¼ cup bacon drippings (can supplement with butter or oil) Instructions - Start by rendering bacon fat in a cast iron skillet. If needed, you can supplement or substitute it with duck fat, butter, or oil to adjust the flavor or meet dietary needs. Remove meat from the skillet, and leave the drippings behind if you choose to use bacon. - In a large bowl, whisk together your dry ingredients. Add cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. - In a separate bowl, combine your wet ingredients. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring just until everything is moistened. Be careful not to overmix, allowing a few clumps to be formed. - Pour the batter into the skillet with the bacon drippings and quickly stir to blend. - Preheat and place the skillet in an oven at 425°F (218°C). Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown. - Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes, then invert onto a plate or cut into wedges directly in the skillet. Serve hot, with butter on top if desired and enjoy! #Sinners #SinnersMovie #Cornbread #ASMR #asmrcooking
