Ok, here’s my problem, and the was my problem with John in the Shawnaverse. These sad damaged men think they are handling a situation with their moms but excluding them from something- but without telling them at all. In order for this to be the big declaration they think it is- they need to- wait for it- SAY WORDS OUTLOUD. Otherwise it’s another passive aggressive move, where their wife becomes the villain
