I do not miss this part of parenting small children at all. Up at the crack of dawn dealing with at least one kid being a little chaos demon every morning for more than a decade. EXHAUSTING! Now my 12 year old will sleep until at least 10am on weekends and largely does her own thing once she gets up, and I’m lucky if I see my 17 year old before noon. So it does eventually get better!
