Just ended a friendship over this. I bought 4 tickets to a college football game to see his favorite team and my favorite team play. Ran about $420 per ticket, and he wanted to bring a guest so he requested 2 tickets. Also wanted to use affirm so he could pay over 6 months instead of all at once. Ended up being $1860, and the first payment was due at the end of July. He still hasn’t sent me any money, and he never showed up to the game.
