do a real investigation, dude, not running around assuming and taking people's word for things that are not their business. how do we know she's not just another crabby karen that doesn't like his hair or the light? the right way would be to contact the owner. it's public record, and it is pretty easy to figure out, plus there could be a house right there. let them know there has been a man claiming he is working in the woods. tell them they might want to address it if they don't know him, because there are other liability and legal issues that could come from it. advise them they can send a unit to assit if they would like and then go from there. so simple, but it takes actual police work, a real investigation, some paperwork, and a little bit of time.
