Saikou :
To the Gambian community and everyone talking about Sheikh Muhammad and the Qur’an event, I just want to say this: say whatever you want to say, but let us also be fair and respectful.
Allah has given us this brother, and he is doing his best to support Gambians, help poor people, and do something beneficial for our deen and our community. Instead of always looking for reasons to be against him, let us appreciate the good he is trying to do.
We have many people in this country who have the means to help, but not everyone chooses to use their wealth to support others. This brother is trying his best to help Gambians. Even if someone contributes just one dalasi, it can make a difference.
We can spend hundreds or thousands of dalasi supporting musicians and entertainment. So why can't we also spend money to support our deen and beneficial Qur’an events? Why should we be against someone who is trying to organize something for the Qur’an and for the benefit of our people?
We also see people from other countries coming to The Gambia and supporting Islamic activities. So when one of our own brothers has the strength and resources to organize something beneficial, why should we discourage him?
Let us respect and support our brothers who are trying to do good for the Gambian people and for our deen. May Allah bless Sheikh Muhammad Cissé, increase him in goodness, protect him from harm, and accept every sincere effort he makes for our community.
We love you, Muhammad for who you are, my brother. May Allah continue to bless you, strengthen you, and grant you what is best in this life and in the Hereafter.
Ameen, ya Rabbal ‘Alameen. 🤲🏽❤️Thank you. Don't listen to negativity. If you are doing something good for the people and for the deen, keep going. May Allah guide us all and unite us upon what is good.
