When I (a trans man) was in a sorority it was mind blowing how many misogynistic rules there were to ensure that we were more easily preyed upon by the guys. In my city more than 6 girls/women can’t own or rent a home without it being considered a brothel. That meant we couldn’t have a house but the frats could. We also weren’t allowed to host parties only attend ones hosted by frats. We could only bring 6 coolers/beers each to a party. If you wanted to drink more beer you had to have what they guys made (jungle juice) we also weren’t allowed our own hard alcohol so we had to use the guys if we wanted some. It was all orchestrated so that the girls had to rely on the guys for party space and drinks, which made us easier to drug and abuse.
